St Johns's, Lawley

St. John’s is a warm and welcoming church.
We are an Anglican Church, and our services generally could be termed central and traditional in style, involving hymns, organ and choir.

Many of those who attend have had, or continue to have, good links with Lawley Village, and so as a church we enjoy a good relationship with the local community. The church also has good links with local schools; Lawley Primary School, and Thomas Telford School , hosting various services throughout the school year.

It regularly has baptism services and it is a popular place for weddings.
Our Vision (a Mission Action Plan): is to reach out into the community through a regular newsletter and a welcome pack for new residents; to revitalise a Junior Church; to offer training for lay readers; and to study and grow together.

All are very welcome to come and visit and enjoy worshipping our God.
